No Electric Meter at Indian Prime Ministers Residence 

Asked about the monthly electricity expenditure of the Prime Minister's House through the Right to Information Act, the Prime Minister has replied that there is no meter box measuring the electric current at home. Jagdish Singh from meter sponsored Gurgaon area had asked for information on the electricity cost of the Prime Minister through the Right to Information Act. After Modi was sworn in as Prime Minister, LED bulbs should be used to prevent electricity spending in the country and grant subsidies to LED bulbs. 

Moreover, Jagdish Singh, who saw a video of Prime Minister Modi speaking, said that electricity lamps in government offices have been converted to LED bulbs and asked about the past electricity and current expenditure to determine whether it was implemented in the Prime Minister's house.

The Central Public Service Department is carrying out the maintenance work of government buildings, including Parliament, Rashtrapati Bhavan of the President and Prime Minister's House.
